Helen Park
Account Executive, Printing Quality Control

The founder of Oriental Art Press, Helen Park boasts 30-plus years of experience, including her ten-year tenure as an award-winning art director and print buyer for one of the largest ad agencies in Asia; her work as art director of a monthly American magazine printed in Asia; and her dozen-plus years at the helm of Oriental Art Press. She knows how to artfully bridge the goals of design, and the realities of production, skillfully uniting American needs and Asian capabilities. Indeed, her ability to speak the language of printing (as well as the languages of the printers in Asia she works with) is just another asset of Oriental Art Press.

Helen Park had won numerous awards for her work and is a member in good standing of multiple professional associations, including:

  • PIASC, Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California
  • AIGA, American Institute of Graphic Arts
  • KOGDA, Korean Graphic Designers’ Association, Seoul, Korea

 



Johanna Leovey
Account Executive, Quality Control, On-Site Press Check

Johanna Leovy brings over 30 years of printing and production experience to your next project, having served many of the world’s most demanding clients in diverse sectors. She has produced a wide variety of printed materials, including point-of-purchase, point-of-sale, promotional materials, out-of-home campaigns, retail packaging, collateral print, temporary and permanent signage, banners, event scenics, displays, and print advertising.

Johanna’s career includes over ten years with the Corporate Print Services Group of The Walt Disney Company; her ensuing work has included projects for accounts including Chase Bank, Cunard Cruise Lines, Hyundai Motors USA, Infiniti Motors USA, Kia Motors USA, Logitech, Oakley USA, Princess Cruises, Thermador Appliances, and many others.

Grace Hwang
Account Executive, Editor, and Publication Director

Grace Hwang started her journalism career in Korea, and has continued it in the United States for over 30 years. Indeed, it was her early newspaper assignments which cultivated her interest in art; this led to formal study in disciplines ranging from art history to drawing to graphic design, computer graphics, web design, and printing technology, including flexography. This has made her an invaluable addition to Oriental Art Press, as she has applied her knowledge to our clients’ projects, including the editorial design and publication of books ranging from bank histories to biographies.

Jin Yu
Chief of Graphic Design Department

Jin Yu is a Senior Graphic Designer at Oriental Art Press, having been with the company for 15 years. She has designed countless client projects, including brochures, catalogs, and calendars, and is responsible for final quality check of client files prior to printing production. Her B.A. is from Inha University in Seoul, South Korea; she is also a Graphic Design graduate of Japan’s prestigious Tokyo Design Academy.
